Blogster's Imminent Demise

What we're currently witnessing at this very precise point in time, my friends, is the sad, untimely and imminent demise of 'Blogster' as we know it; and at the very same time, the demise of the very strong, caring and proud community that
is 'Blogster'.

Sadly, our so-called 'Net' entrepreneurs, and out-and-out, clueless mis-fits, not to mention, ruthless, self-destructive, deceitful, ignorant, arrogant, exploitational and ever-increasingly and continually desperate and failing businessmen, Tony and Ed, must've now realised, and thus, must've therefore now decided that, the end is near for their latest 'hobby-horse'; and as such, in a last ditched attempt to gain some street credibility and try and regain some self-esteem, these greedy, self-righteous, blundering, low-life pair of dollar-desperate buffoons, are now clutching at straws in a desperate bid to try and revive interest in 'Blogster', and at the very same time, are fighting to stop, and attract back the hordes of long-term [and short-term] community members that've been leaving 'Blogster' on a daily basis to seek to blog on alternative
sites, as a direct result of 'Blogster' having been redesigned to try and represent itself as being a corporate business [and money-making] enterprise.

Bloody hell, do these unloved and uncaring pair of capitalist extremists, actually believe for one single minute, that the wonderful community members that've supported this site since its birth and infancy, are so naive and unintelligent as to not have realised just what these money-mad criminals are playing at and are up to, with their ongoingly opportunistic and infinite plans to extort and cream money from the very dignified and wonderful people whose strength and unity has made the community of 'Blogster', that which it is???

It'd be interesting to see these fellas projected income targets on their Critical Path Analysis business plan, that's if they've even had, or indeed, have had the brains and intelligence to realise that without such, they'd be almost doomed to failure, regardless. Personally, I've now reached the stage whereby, unless someone steps in, and does so quickly, to prevent 'Blogster' from closing down altogether; then sadly, that which we're now witnessing is 'Blogster' and the wonderful community that's always been associated with this site, sinking to bottom of The Atlantic Ocean, just The Titanic sadly did, all those years back in the 1920's.

Although I've yet to witness the latest commercially enterprised attempts by Tony and Ed, which, from that which's been relayed to me, involves the introduction of a sectionalised series of 'Related Topics' links on each community members' blog [due to the fact that, unfortunately, I've been so busy over the last couple of weeks, that all I've been able to manage and contribute with regards to trying to help community members from leaving 'Blogster', is to post my own blogs by means of the automated software that I wrote, and which, is still undergoing extensive development and testing, before finally being released FREE of charge for anyone who so wishes to use it, under the terms of the GNU General Public License as published by the Free Software Foundation; in either version 2, or the upcoming, and due to be released version, 3], and
from that which I've been so reliably informed, it'd appear that it's merely nothing more than another desperate attempt to blatantly exploit and subject 'Blogster's' community members to even more uncalled for, and totally unnecessary
advertising and other such bollocks.

The first thing that I'll do when I arrive back in the UK, early next week, is to witness with my very own eyes, the increasingly sick and saddening impact that Tony and Ed are having [and have had] on the community that is 'Blogster'.
Personally, if you haven't done so already, then I'd back-up all the material that's existent on your blogs, due to the very fact that sadly, from the varying and numerous accounts that I've received from well-loved and equally well-respected and knowledgeable members from within the community, just like The Titanic, sadly, 'Blogster' could sink at any given moment in time, and equally sadly, she'll take with her, the souls of the poor and innocent people who were so proud to have set sail on her, that's of course, until tragedy struck.

To those members of the community who're sticking it out, and as such, are prepared to wait and see just how long she'll stay afloat, I sincerely wish you well. It's perhaps worth remembering, that 'Blogster' has two captains at the wheel and helm of this ship; and if it wasn't for their sheer greed and for their sheer ignorance and arrogance with regards to the requests of the ship's passengers, then sadly, 'Blogster' wouldn't be in the unfortunate position that she's in now, with so many peoples' lifes and spirits hanging in the balance and at her mercy. Please remember, that it's not too late to jump ship and be saved, with your dignity and your pride in tact, and in once piece, and at the very same time, with your conscience and honour left clean and unblemished.

So, my fellow sextraordinary bloggers and blogettes, whatever it is that you're up to today, I sincerely hope that you have a safe, happy and peaceful time doing whatever it is that you're doing.

Blogster's Demise Confirmed

Music Currently Being Played: The Cure - Friday I'm In Love [:wq]

First and foremost, I'd just like to wish those members of the strong, caring, compassionate and unified community that is 'Blogster', who celebrate Easter, a happy Good Friday, and an equally happy Easter. And for those people who're fortunate enough to be able to enjoy the Easter break, then I sincerely hope that you also have a great and enjoyable time doing so.

So, as is customary for yours truly to thus herald, on each and every Friday on the blog which is that of 'On With The Motley', I'd just like to joyously, gleefully and merrily, hereby proclaim that: "I sincerely hope that everyone within, and outside of the 'Net' blogging community that is 'Blogster', has a happy 'Friday I'm In Love [The Cure] day'." ;-)

OK, to further continue my total-and-utter condemnation of, and towards the couple of misguided, misinformed, clueless, cock-sucking wankers, and so-called pathetically self-styled and self-titled 'Net' entrepreneurs, Tony and Ed, who're currently, but for not much longer, running this Las Vegas styled, bill-boarded, blogging site/entertainment and amusement arcade; I'd just like to thank these pair of hallucinogenic clowns for today providing me with what's been one of the best laughs I've had in quite some time. Fuck me, these fella's are certainly making a name for themselves in certain circles and quarters on, and around the 'Net'; that's to say that, they've finally, and at long last, achieved the very recognition and accreditation that's been so late in being forthcoming and deservant, as being the biggest pair of bullshitting, toss-potted, fraudulent, con-artist tricksters, that the 'Net's' seen, and had the sad and unforgivable misfortune of having to tolerate, in years. ;-)

Anyway, without going into too much detail at the minute, I'd just like to give you a sample of these two fuckin' idiots' latest blogs; blogs that were posted yesterday on their respective sites. The first blog, has been unashamedly stolen
[and circulated to numerous 'Net' business quarters] from Tony's [http://walleyeman.blogster.com] blog. Yeah, that's right, he's the thick cunt and silly fucker, whose blog's, for some strange, bizarre and unknown reason's always topping the charts in 'Blogster's', 'Today's Top 50 Blogs' popularity, ego-tripping, stakes poll. As mentioned, this blog was posted on Tony's [or as the mangled, deceitful, capitalist, worthless faggot-fuck, prefers to be called, Anthony] blog, yesterday, and is entitled: 'Blogster Rumors'. I've also gone to _no_ trouble whatsoever to also include this plebular whelk's full name, along
with his ever-changing and ever-deceptive profile, which can be seen and witnessed on his blog. Or, if he so chooses to remove it, then worry not, for I've still got a back-up of the whole site, in it's entirety; which, I mirrored yesterday [and NO, folks, this isn't illegal, just so long as I don't propagate it online. After all, I'm only copying it so that I can read it off-line,
anyway], as I generally do most days, especially as I don't like to see and witness these criminals get away with their ever-increasing ensemble of fraudulent party tricks. So, my friends, let's have a look at that which Anthony Colan [Tony] had to say yesterday, in such a gloating, businessman style and manner! ;-)

Often in the blogging world it is very easy to start controversy and good PR with a well placed rumor or even a denial of something that doesn't even exist. For instance Facebook, the popular college blogging site recently announced that
they turned down a 700 million dollar offer to buy them and that they felt that the company was worth 2 Billion dollars. I don't think anyone really made an offer for Facebook, but the story put an inflated value on Facebook and got
everybody talking and if there were people thinking of buying Facebook, they might rush to the table to snap it up before someone else does.

Thank you, to the former Blogsters who have been passing along a rumor that Blogster is for sale. This has caused an increased interest in Blogster from a couple interested investors. If Blogster were for sale and got purchased, this
certainly would not be a bad thing for the community. It probably would mean a large infusion of cash to add quite a bit more programming and functionality to the site and would probably mean developing a structure to pay certain Blogsters
for their blogging talent. As business owners Ed and I are always trying to measure the value of our Internet properties in terms of what they are worth. We do let interested investors and others know that Blogster may be for sale to the
right buyer and at the right price. If there were a serious interest in buying Blogster, we would let the community know at the right time. Right now there is no serious interest in anyone buying Blogster and Ed and I are still making plans for many upgrades and improvements. But again, thank you to the rumor mongers for fanning the flames, you have probably increased the value of Blogster.

So, my friends, there you have it, straight from the horse's mouth; proof positive, which cancels out the negative, that this is indeed an insight into how the mind of a corrupt, exploitational, capitalist, deceitful, inhuman, sick, twisted, dollar-driven, so-called 'Net' entreprenuer's mind works; as well as proving and showing just how such an insensitive, unloved and uncaring human being[?] gets his evil, perverse, not to mention, obscene pleasures from gloating about exploiting the wonderfully strong and unified members of the community that is 'Blogster'.

What saddens, and at the same time puzzles me most, is as to just what illegal narcotics this poor soul must be using and taking, in order to have dreamt and come up with such amazingly unbelievable commodity figures. Also, it's also
saddening to see and read that, this sad, miserable, capitalist extremist has also lost touch with, and at the very same time, has become alienated from the reality of the 'real' world that surrounds him. Perhaps he's smoking too many
dollar bills, or adversely, is indeed intravenously injecting them - who knows???

However, perhaps this fella's actually far more intelligent than we gave, and give him credit for, and as such, perhaps it's in fact the case that, the two 'Satan's Slaves' that currently own 'Blogster', are indeed sitting on a 'gold mine'; one of which, the likes of an old mate of yours truly, Bill Gates, would love to get his hands on! ;-)

However, the one thing that's still puzzling me is, the very fact that, late last night, I received an telephone call from a fellow member of the wonderful community that is 'Blogster', to inform me that 'Blogster' had been put up for sale on Ebay with a hefty price tag of $10,000 attached to it; and what's more, the details of which, described the site as such: "For Sale. Blogster.com and other similarly related domain names. Blogster used to be one of the 'Nets' most popular and thriving blogging sites. However, sadly, due to the incompetent mismanagement of the site, the site's now gone 'to the wall', and as such, has left us with massive debt arrears. Therefore, along with the data of 18,000 bloggers who've recently deserted 'Blogster', and who've subsequently abandoned the site; due to the fact that we're in desperate need of a quick sale, we're
even prepared to sell the site's main server, email server and the hearts and souls of the 81 people who occasionally blog on the site. Therefore, the first offer of $10,000 will be most gratefully accepted, although we are prepared to negotiate in order to try and bring the price as near as is possible to $10,000, that's if the asking price can't be met or reached.

Please Help,

Tony Colan and Ed Harrison [Blogster's 'fun-loving-criminal' owners].

Personally, I find it quite sad that, now that our heroic, so-called 'Net' entrepreneurs, have shown themselves in their true light and true colours, that not only have they let themselves down, but, what's equally more disturbing and annoying is, the very fact that, some of the more vulnerable members of the 'Blogster' community were almost lured and misguided into believing that these two con-men were actually genuinely honest businessmen, who had their [Blogster community members'] very interests at heart. Anyway, to further and fully understand just what they also had in mind, in order to extort money from the wonderful and dignified members of the community that is 'Blogster', please read Ed's blog of yesterday [which can be read in its entirety, below], in which he outlined and detailed plans of how these two low-life, scum-of-the-earth, fraudsters, intended to try and fleece some of the vulnerable members of the 'Blogster' community, with their latest, devious, desperate and sickening plan.

Sadly, now that the truth's been fully disclosed and brought to light, all that they have left, is the ownership rights to 'Blogster', plus their software, hardware and former members' data. Perhaps this could've once been viewed as being a business commodity or asset; but, due to the fact that they've now placed 'Blogster' on Ebay, this doesn't seem to be the case.

I guess, at the end of the day, and when all's said and done, it's a case of 'Some You Win, Some You Lose'. And sadly, because Tony and Ed underestimated the unity and strength of the 'Blogster' community, as a direct result of their
sickening and obsessive greed, they've now lost it all.

============================================
The principle purpose of this test post, is to determine as to whether or not the modifications that I've made to the Python script that's been used to post my two previous postings, has been sufficiently modified and altered, to thus allow it to be considered to be acceptable for use in its present state.

As with all software that I develop, this too will undergo intensive testing and development, before finally being considered, and at the very same time, being deemed, to be suitable for release under the terms of the GNU General Public License as published by the Free Software Foundation; either under version 2, or [at your option] any later version, i.e. that of version 3, which is soon to be released - hopefully.

Bloody hell, perhaps one day, I'll actually find the spare time to finally get around to completing that which I initially instigated and began work on a couple of months back, and as such, release this as FREE software for people to do as and what they so choose and wish to do with. However, what, with one thing and another, things are somewhat chaotic at the minute, and resultantly, I barely can find the time to fart, let alone sit down and actually complete this [and other] project[s].

Anyway, WTF, thankfully, at the minute, life's not too bad, and it could in fact be considered to be 'quite peachy'; and that's indeed coming from the British bloke who jestfully and unashamedly proclaims himself to be 'peachy buttocked'.

OK, I'm now going to attempt to try and post this from behind a proxy. If all goes well, then I'll be happy. If it doesn't, then I'll still be happy, due to the fact that, I couldn't really give a shit at the minute. If it works, then that's a bonus - if it doesn't, then it just means that I've got to piss around a bit more until I eventually manage to overcome the problem, and as such,
allow and make it able to do so, i.e. post from behind a proxy.

That's one of the things that I love about life, the fact that it's a never-ending challenge; challenges that're faced and fought on a personal level, and equally, those that're faced and fought on a far-wider and much broader and far-wider ranging scale, i.e. those that appertain to, and involve, striving for the betterment of humanity and mankind, and all the ongoing global issues that I try to keep my mindset focused on, not to mention, involved in, and with.

Anyway, for the time being, rather than begin to head down the path of global change and the likes, I think I'll simply and merely opt to test this script out. Then, after doing so, I'll head on downstairs and see what Sophia and our old folks are up to, and on with. Hopefully, it'll be preparing some grub; but nah, that's something that I end up generally doing! ;-)

So, without further ado, and further adon't, the time's now come to see if this 'baby's' going to strut her stuff, and as such, do me one _massive_ big favour, and land up on my blog after having bypassed my proxy server[s]. ;-)

BFN,

Take Care and Stay Lucky.

Have A Safe, Happy and Peaceful Day!

Well, seeing as though it's now Monday afternoon; and as is generally the case, over here in 'Old Blighty', it's currently pissing it down, I thought that I'd try to get my head back into, and around, doing a bit of blogging; which, is something I've hardly bothered with at all, if I'm to be totally honest, over the last few weeks.

Anyway, enough about the 'in-and-outs' of as to why, and as to what's been going on over the aforementioned period of time, due to the fact that, essentially, I've just been farting around and modifying a Python script, which, if it works successfully, it'll make things a lot easier for yours truly when it comes to blogging - due to the very fact that, once again, I'll be reverting back to using an automated script to post my blogs.

Anyway, in the main, since last Wednesday, when I 'blogged-out' about our week-long holiday down south, in essence, we've been generally just chilling-out enjoying what I guess you could call a 'heat-wave' over here in the UK - once that's lasted for the last couple of weeks.

I'm still training like fuck [now, approximately around four-five hours/day] in preparation for next month's trip to Nepal and Tibet, and have also been busy as fuck doing some GNU/Linux kernel coding, not to mention, doing quite a bit of work on FreeBSD.

Thankfully, I've not totally lost touch with the 'blogging-scene', as I generally drop by and read my old mate Leo's blog; which, if I'm totally honest, cheers me up no-end. Cheers, BP, mate! ;-) Keep up the excellent work, my friend. I laughed like fuck at the last sentence that you included in yesterday's Mother's Day tribute, i.e. with regards to the comments that you made with regards to those two low-life wankers and innate mother-fuckers, none other than, Blogster's 'Satanic Capitalist Dictators', Tony and Ed. ;-) Fuck me, do those two worthless cunts most definitely know how to wind people up.

I actually read one of Tony's last posts - dated around 05/05/06. The cheeky bastard even had the fuckin' audacity to whinge and whine on about how he and Tony had been doing all the 'policing' of the site over the last couple of months, and as such, it was now about time that the community formulated some rules and regulations that should be adhered to by members within the community.

Is this fat cunt totally fuckin' thick [as well as totally fuckin' stupid] or what??? Those two pair of fuckin' low-life scum-bags went about kicking everyone with half a brain, or half-an-ounce of intelligence off Blogster, not to mention, anyone who spoke out against their sick and twisted, half-baked, hair-brained, exploitational, money-making, schemes and shams, and now that they've done so, there's hardly a soul left on the fuckin' site.

Sorry, fellas, but you shot yourselves in the feet, you pair of miserable fuckin' wankers, and as such, you're now paying the price for doing such - big time. Every time I've checked the place out, it's like a bloody morgue - dead! And sadly, those people who are bothering to blog, are unfortunately less intelligent that you two pair of useless, thick, uneducated pair of unloved cunts! ;-)

Anyway, that's enough of that shit for the time being, I think - it's now time to get automated! ;-)

Anyway, I hope that anyone who's had the sad misfortune of reading this 'drivelled dross' has a safe, happy and peaceful day, doing whatever it is that you're doing.

Be good... ;-) Catch yer later - I hope! ;-)

Music Currently Being Played: Deftones - Around The Fur [:wq]

============================================

Essentially, last Bank Holiday Monday [01/05/06], after having dropped my two beloved young sons, Scott and Luke, back down at Liz's 'old folks'' house at around 7.00 PM; after having gone through the tearful, and emotionally draining procedure of saying our farewells, Sophia, and yours truly, decided that rather than drive straight back home, we'd spend the night at a small hotel near Chard, Somerset.

Therefore, after driving towards Glastonbury, which has become notorious for staging one of the world's most famous music and entertainment festivals [although this year, Michael Eavis, owner of Worthy Farm, Pilton, and festival organiser, has decided to give the local residents another much needed rest from the masses who congregate in and around Glastonbury for the festival, by cancelling it until next year], we found a cheap hotel, and subsequently stayed the night.

We then went onto to spend up until Sunday touring around the beautiful area that surrounds Glastonbury; and in doing so, I showed Sophia, Glastonbury Tor, which is steeped in religious and unorthodox history, not to mention, lots of wonderful sites of interest and other places of immense spiritual guidance and other wonderfully fascinating enrichments.

So, after spending a couple of days wandering around Glastonbury, Shepton Mallet, Pilton [where we actually walked around the fields where the festival's normally held, and at the very same time, farting around on the main 'pyramid' stage as though we were some overly-paid and overly-egotistical rock stars [where, I might add, our fervent passion got the better of us, and as such, we ended up having a somewhat lengthy fornication session in the 'underbelly' of the stage, i.e. in a storage area that's under it [ ;-) ] ], we then headed to Wiltshire to visit Stonehenge [for what must've been my two-dozenth visit], and were both totally mesmerised by that which we witnessed. Please bare in mind that this was Sophia's first visit to the place.

Anyway, after having had an amazing time just chilling-out, we then spent the next few days at the equally wonderful and beautiful place that's more commonly known as, and referred to as, Cheddar Gorge - which, just like all the other places we'd visited, has to be seen to be believed. It's absolutely awe inspiring, and the scenery and surrounding countryside are something else.

So, after being fortunate enough to experience some fantastic weather, as well as having a totally amazing time, we then headed back up north on Sunday. I guess that despite the fact that it tore me apart to have to say goodbye to my beloved two young sons, the pain was eased somewhat by being in the environment that we chose to spend the best part of last week in.

Anyway, yesterday, we went out and bought ourselves a static caravan, which'll be located on the south end of the island, on a large, family caravan park, which is owned by an old mate, 'MM'; and as such, it'll mean that it'll be sited on the park, all-year-round, and at the same time, it'll also mean that Sophia, and yours truly, will use it as our temporary home. It'll also be ideal for the kids, who'll love it; especially when they're up on holiday. It's got its own swimming pool, play area, and loads of other facilities, and what's more, is it's only a couple of miles from our 'old folks'' home, where we're currently living.

Therefore, we're hoping to move in as soon as I return from my trip to Tibet and Nepal, next month, due to the fact that, the caravan's got to be delivered from the manufacturers down south, which'll take at least another couple of weeks.

Anyway, the weather in 'Old Blighty's' been tremendously warm and sunny over the last couple of weeks. Therefore, after having completed some outstanding work, I think I'll head out into the garden and join Sophia, who's currently flat-out asleep on a sun lounger, in a somewhat rather fetching bikini, may I please add - which'll be coming off somewhat rather speedily if I have my way! ;-)

Anyway, I hope that anyone who's had the sad misfortune of reading this 'drivelled dross' has a safe, happy and peaceful day, doing whatever it is that you're doing.

Take Care and Stay Lucky.

This is yet another automated test script, that, should it successfully work,

will allow me to automate my blogs to Blogger, and as such, make life a lot

easier and a lot more convenient for yours truly! ;-)

Anyway, essentially, all the spiel, below, is taken from the automated script

that I used to use on the other site; the site's that sadly, still appears to be

sinking just as the Titanic did, back in the '20s. However, the reason that this

'Net' ship's sinking's, not as a result of unfortunately and sadly hitting an

iceberg, but as a direct result of the sheer incompetence, out-and-out greed,

ruthlessness, arrogance and ignorance [amongst other things] of its two sad,

pathetic and failed wannabe 'Net' entrepreneurs.

Fuck me, if these blokes had _any_ sense whatsoever, they'd have given the site

away by now [that's if anyone's gullible enough to take it off their sad and

sorry hands], to save them from the ever-mounting and continually spiralling

daily debts and losses they're incurring. Still, who knows, I could indeed be

wrong, perhaps Blogster's worth $2b just as co-owner Tony, so gloatingly

stated in his blog. Wanker!

Anyway, as I'm primarily here to test out this latest script modification, the

last thing I need to be bothering my arse over, and blathering about, is a pair

of clueless cunts such as those two dictatorial capitalist lepers.

Alive and Kicking

OK, to anyone who's reading this 'drivelled-dross', please forget all the 'soap opera' bollocks, i.e. with regards to Sophia and yours truly's demise from this planet, as it's quite blatantly obvious that unfortunately, we're _still_ very much alive, and very much alive and kicking.

Essentially, Sophia, and yours truly, spent last week down south; in the main, down at Somerset and around the Glastonbury area. I'll perhaps enlighten those who're fuckin' remotely interested, later on! ;-)

At the minute, I'm working on another automated script that'll allow me to post my blogs to Blogger automatically from any PC in the world. Thankfully, it appears that that which I'm currently pissing around on, just needs a bit of tweaking here and there.

I've also got loads of work to catch up on, so, for the best part of today, I'm gonna be as 'busy-as-a-bee'! ;-)

Haven't checked-out how the other two wankers and toss-pots, Tony and Ed are doing over at Blogster, but if I have anything to do with it in the foreseeable future, then I'll be more than happy to try and put the two miserable capitalistic fuckers out of business. ;-)

Utopia Killed

Sadly, Utopia (AKA Joe Manuel Hendrix Cobain) died this morning as a result of the injuries he sustained in an accident in the early hours of Tuesday, 02/05/06 whilst driving home with his girlfriend Sophia, after having dropped his two young sons off at his former wife's home.

Tragically, Sophia was pronounced dead at the scene. A Belgian lorry driver has been charged with manslaughter as a result of reckless driving.

Our deepest condolences go out to Joe's immediate loving family, children and friends, as well as those of Sophia.

A formal announcement will be made at a more approriate time.

Sincerely,

Dinger

After having blissfully spent the last two days enjoying and spending quality
time with my beloved two young sons, the reality of the situation, and the upset
and realisation that I'm shortly going to have to drive them the 270+ miles back
down south to their mam's, and as such, not see them for a couple of weeks, is
beginning to hit home; and it's subsequently beginning to hurt bad. The party's
over, and it's starting to tear me apart.

The last couple of days have been absolutely fantastic, and for that short
period of time, it'd felt as though our lives had almost returned to normal
again. My beloved two young sons, Scott and Luke, have been their usual happy,
boisterous, fun-loving, loveable selves; and yours truly, and Sophia, have been
kept on our toes by their none-stop energy, love and enthusiasm for life.

I feel as though I've had the opportunity to be a _true_ and _proper_ dad again;
by simply being able to kick a soccer ball around with my kids; by being able to
go to the park and the beach; by taking them to the baths, swimming; by going to
the pictures; by going for a McDonalds'; by playing and messing around with
them; by playing in the kid's play area in the town's park and rowing around the
park lake in a rowing boat; by flying kites; by roller blading; by looking after
them; and simply by doing, and going about and enjoying all the things that
doting dads do with their kids; the very two kids that I love more than anyone
in the world, and in fact, who, I love more than life itself.

And here I am, sat here at the minute, a bit like a broken man. Like a bloke
whose life's falling apart; and for no other reason than because of the fact
that I love my kids to bits; and as such, I just wish that Liz, and yours truly,
had managed to save our marriage, not just for the kids, but for ourselves, and
subsequently, life wouldn't have had to be this painful. We'd have been together
each and every day, and would have loved each other like their was no tomorrow,
just like we used to, that's before Liz and I, separated, early last year.

Anyway, sadly, I haven't got the time to go into the sad and unfortunate details
of such at the minute; all of which were my fault, and thus, were the resultant
cause of our marriage breaking down. However, the worst thing about being
divorced, especially where kids are involved, is to see them suffer so much.
That's essentially the main thing that I can't handle. Also, the tears that'll
flow as I drop them off at Liz's in around five hours, are another. OK, yeah,
I've been to hell and back all too many times in my life, but of all the things
I've been through, this, without a doubt, has to be the most painful and
emotionally draining.

I'll no doubt speak further tomorrow, due to the fact that, at the minute, my
heart's bleeding.

Anyway, whatever it is that you're up to today, I sincerely hope that you
enjoy yourselves; and at the very same time, in doing so, have a safe, happy and
peaceful time.

Due to the fact that it's a Bank Holiday weekend over here in 'Old 'Blighty', it
means that, the vast majority of the British working public will have a much
needed and highly appreciated, extended weekend; and as such, won't return to
work until Tuesday. However, the bizarre and frustrating thing is that,
due to the fact that most people choose to head off for a few day's break, the
British road and transport network system becomes somewhat overly congested, as
everyone heads towards the beaches, or alternatively, out into the countryside
where they'll spend the weekend camping or staying in hotels and bed and breakfast
accommodation, or whatever else it is that they so wish and choose to do.

Anyway, yesterday afternoon, after Sophia, and yours truly had jumped on my
'mean machine' [Ducati 1100] and had thus, headed up to a place called Santon
Bridge [which is located near Wasdale Head], and is situated in the less
commercialised and far more beautiful and peaceful, north-west peninsula of The
Lake District, we decided to simply and merely 'chill-out' by having a stroll
alongside the river Ure which spirals its way through the northern tip of The
Lakes.

So, after having stopped off for a bar meal in the wonderfully quaint Santon
Bridge Inn, where we both enjoyed a meal of scampi, chips and a side-salad; and
after yet again having struggled to battle against the temptation to drink, by
thus, trying to avoid the smell of alcohol, we both simply enjoyed a couple of
pints of chilled mineral water, and then had a stroll along the path that's
adjacent to the river, and at the very same time, breathed in the wondrous fresh
country air, as well as marvelled at the beauty of the scenery. Anyway, after
having strolled for about two miles along the path, we then headed back the way
we'd came, and sat down in a field at the back of the pub [that's used by
campers and tourists], and simply chatted, stripped off [no, nothing seedy or
untowards went on - thank you very much ;-)] and did a spot of sunbathing for
about an hour or so. In fact, it wasn't too long before both Sophia, and yours
truly, had dozed off.

However, just as I was dropping off into a peaceful and tranquil sleep, I've was
somewhat rudely and abruptly awoken by my mobile phone. Generally, when I, or
we're out in the countryside, I simply just switch the thing off, due to the
fact that, for some strange reason, I don't associate mobile phones with the
beautiful serenity and tranquility that's apart of the aura of peace that's
attached to the magnificence and wonderment of the countryside.

Anyway, as it turned out, it was one of my ex-wives, Liz, from whom I've
recently been divorced, who'd phoned. She wanted to know if it'd be possible for
me to have my two young sons; Scott, who's eight, and Luke, who's six, for the
holiday period. Although this hadn't been planned or arranged, I was more than
delighted to be able to have extended access to my beloved sons, and as such,
didn't hesitate to jump at the chance. It may sound a bit selfish, and at the
same time, somewhat inconsiderate that I didn't consult Sophia, but the fact of
the matter is, Sophia's just brilliant; and despite the fact that we've only
been together for less than a couple of months, she loves kids, loves my sons,
and they all get on great. After all, Sophia's a year younger than yours truly,
and has two adult daughters who live back out in Spain. One's married, and the
other's at university. So, Sophia was more than delighted to be looking forward
to seeing my beloved two young sons, yet again. It turned out, that Liz [my
third ex-wife], who works as a nurse, had been asked to work the weekend, and
despite her and the kids living with her elderly parents at their home in Chard,
Somerset; because my ex in-laws had planned on taking a break for the Bank
Holiday, despite the fact that they would've cancelled, she didn't really want
to ask them, especially as they're in need of a much needed break themselves.

So, after having a quick chat, Sophia, and yours truly, quickly planned a few
activities that we'd get up to with my sons during the extended holiday, and
then headed back home on my bike; driving exceedingly carefully and slowly, may
I please add! ;-)

So, after having grabbed some food, and after having rested for a couple of
hours, at around 9.00 PM last night, we hopped in the car, and I began the 270+
mile journey down south to Liz's folks' house to pick up my sons. Anyway, to
cut a long story short, the reason I decided to drive late on at night, and drive
back home during the early hours of the morning, was because it meant that the
roads would be a lot quieter, and also, because the weather's been hot over the
last few days, it also meant that it'd be cooler and more comfortable for Scott
and Luke to travel, not to mention, the fact that they'd be able to sleep the
whole of the journey home.

Therefore, after arriving a Liz's old folks' house at just before 1.00 AM, and
after having had a chat and a rest for another couple of hours, not to mention,
after having listened to my two overly excited, and overly tired sons, blather
on at me, none-stop, we eventually left Chard, Somerset, just before 3.00 AM.
Anyway, after about half-an-hour, the two l'al fellas were flat-out in the back
of the car, as was Sophia, in the passenger seat. So, after stopping off half-
way home for a break at a motorway service station, and grabbing some food, we
eventually arrived home not long before 7.00 AM this morning.

So, because my 'old folk' couldn't wait to see their grandsons, they'd got up
early, and when we arrived home, they been kind enough to make us some breakfast.
Therefore, due to the fact that we were all somewhat tired, and because of the
fact that Scott and Luke had become overly excited because of such, at around
8.00 AM, I settled them down for a few hours sleep. In fact, they're still flat-
out now, as is Sophia. Personally, I managed an hour's sleep, then got up and
nipped out for a jog to freshen myself up, and to bring myself back to life.
As I'm typing this out, all three are still snoring away as if there were no
tomorrow. Therefore, I'm just going to leave them to wake-up when they're good
and ready, and as such, have had some much needed sleep and rest.

The wonderful thing is that, I've got some unexpected quality time to spend
with my two beloved, youngest kids, over the next couple of days. So, no doubt
it'll be all mayhem, not to mention, joyous bliss, and a case of: "Dad, can we
do this; dad, can we do that; dad, can we go to so-and-so; dad, can we have
this; dad, can we have that???" and all the other wonderful things that you so
sadly miss on a daily basis, when, unfortunately, you end up getting divorced.
;-(

Anyway, at the minute, I know who's the most excited, and that's yours truly;
due to the very fact that, I'm awake and can't wait for the l'al bundles of
none-stop fun, joy, energy, happiness and love, to surface, so that we can look
forward to having a fantastic and wonderfully joyous weekend together; as one
big family, and that's with my 'old folks' and various other members of the
family joining in at various stages! ;-)

So, whatever it is that you're up to this weekend, I sincerely hope that you
enjoy yourselves; and at the very same time, in doing so, have a safe, happy and
peaceful time.

Music Currently Being Played: The Cure - Friday I'm In Love [:wq]
********************************************
============================================
It's with joyous, gleeful merriment and delight, that, on this, the very last
Friday of April, 2006, and at the very same moment in real-time, projectional
time and protractional and definitive time, not to mention, on my very first
Friday as a fully-fledged and devoted member of the blogging community that is
'Blogger', that I'd just like to continue on with that which'd has become a
personal and traditional Friday greeting on 'Blogstir', and thus, herald and
proclaim that: "I sincerely hope that everyone within, and outside of the 'Net'
blogging community that is 'Blogger', has a happy 'Friday I'm In Love [The Cure]
day'." ;-)

So, my fellow fun-loving fornicaters, and my equally, sexually stimulated,
sexually dynamic and sexually satisfied, smooth and 'peachy buttocked' 'top
bananas', if you're somewhat puzzled as to just WTF it is that this somewhat
overly eccentric, bizarre, jesticular, unconventional, more-often-than-not,
unpredictable, peace-loving, free-spirited, free-minded, free-thinking, British
hippy cohort, and all-round fool and idiot's referring to, then please allow me
an hour or so of your valuable and free spare time to explain. Thank you! ;-)

In actual fact, because it's quite a verbose and long-winded story, one which
I've been through all too many times before, and have thus gone to great lengths
to explain, to be totally honest and truthful, it's one that I don't know if I
can be bothered explaining yet again, just at the minute. ;-)

In fact, due to the very fact that it's a somewhat wonderful and beautiful day
over here in 'Old Blighty', I think that Sophia, and yours truly, will head-off
up The Lakes on my 'mean machine' [Ducati 1100] and perhaps just chill-out and
get all frisky and romantic in some remote and wonderful corner of The English
Lake District, whilst at the very same time, perhaps enjoying an equally
romantic picnic, in the surrounding beauty of this magnificent and wonderful
countryside.

Anyway, in essence, back in the '80s, a British new-wave band, The Cure, wrote
a classic track called 'Friday I'm In Love'; which, essentially, was a song
that became extremely popular, especially because of the 'bouncy' tune/melody,
and the equally wonderful and poignant lyrics. As an ex-misguided soldier, no
matter where we were deployed in the world, and no matter what we were involved
in, Friday's were always considered to be somewhat special, due to the fact that,
if we weren't on special operations, then all the lads would end up singing,
whistling or generally just end up messing around whilst playing, reciting or
just remembering this classic track. I guess that you could say that it was a
great moral booster, and also, for the working class British public, it
generally signified the end of the working week; and as such, people would look
forward to their weekend break, spending it with their beloved families, getting
plastered with their mates, or just generally 'chilling-out' or doing whatever.

So, with that brief explanation over and done with, below, are the lyrics to the
aforementioned wonderful track. Please enjoy, and have a great day.

Incidentally, if you'd like to read a bit more about your truly, then there's
a few hundred articles posted over at my old blog, 'On With The Motley', which,
you can reach by simply clicking here.

OK, as soon as I've blogged this out, we're going to be heading off out for the
day. I sincerely hope that whatever it is that you're up to, you have a safe,
happy and peaceful day. Take Care and Stay Lucky!

The Cure - Friday I'm In Love

I don't care if Monday's blue
Tuesday's grey and Wednesday too
Thursday I don't care about you
It's Friday, I'm in love

Monday you can fall apart
Tuesday, Wednesday break my heart
Thursday doesn't even start
It's Friday I'm in love

Saturday, wait
And Sunday always comes too late
But Friday, never hesitate...

I don't care if Mondays black
Tuesday, Wednesday - heart attack
Thursday, never looking back
It's Friday, I'm in love

Monday, you can hold your head
Tuesday, Wednesday stay in bed
Or Thursday - watch the walls instead
It's Friday, I'm in love

Saturday, wait
And Sunday always comes too late
But Friday, never hesitate...

Dressed up to the eyes
It's a wonderful surprise
To see your shoes and your spirits rise
Throwing out your frown
And just smiling at the sound
And as sleek as a shriek
Spinning round and round
Always take a big bite
It's such a gorgeous sight
To see you eat in the middle of the night
You can never get enough
Enough of this stuff
It's Friday, I'm in love

I don't care if Monday's blue
Tuesday's grey and Wednesday too
Thursday I don't care about you
It's Friday, I'm in love

Monday you can fall apart
Tuesday, Wednesday break my heart
Thursday doesn't even start
It's Friday I'm in love
